Digital Since '18

I've been accustomed to various programs since '18. My current style is influenced by various Japanese artists and my own personal interests.

Animating Since '20

What started as a one-time activity became one of my most passionate hobbies, I animate a wide variety of music videos and animated shorts, commonly posted on youtube. They include collaborations with online singers to original projects.

Why an animator?

Art has always been a way for me to express myself. There's always a chance to hide bits and pieces of symbolism, whether that be a reoccurring theme in my works or only appearing for mere seconds.
I want to make others happy with my works and feel emotions while watching. I want them to go "WOAH!" or cry depending on the emotion desired

Why Lunes?

I'm commonly known as Lunes or Luna on digital platforms. The reason is the fact that Luna was rather common and I wanted to stand out. At the time, a nickname given was Lunes and it simply stuck. Other than meaning moon in various languages, in Filipino culture, Lunes means Monday (unfortunately I wasn't born on one).

About me

I spent the majority of my childhood living in Canada with my family. Every day before school, I would sit in front of the tv to watch an episode of Pokemon or Beyblade despite my grandmother's protest. I always ended up being dragged away in the end to school. I want to think of those moments when my love for the arts began to form. I was that one student known to be drawing during class and sometimes ridiculed for liking anime. It didn't bother me for the most part as it just fuelled my desire to get better. It was through art that I connected with a lot of people that inspire me to keep going and encourage me to continue my dream.

Other things I enjoy

I indulge in various forms of media specifically found in East Asian cultures, especially anime and donghuas. Shows like "Mo Dao Zu Shi", "Uta no Prince-Sama" and "Moriarty the Patriot" are a few of my favourite shows. Music is also something I enjoy to a lot, having it play in the background while I'm working keeps me motivated. Some artists I listen to frequently include Mafumafu, Suri, and Vivid BAD SQUAD.
